General Information
The Gender and Industrial Relations Study Group of IIRA (http://www.ilo.org/public/english/iira/) invites academics and interested practitioners to participate in the group’s activities. The Gender and Industrial Relations Study Group covers all aspects of gender, equality and industrial relations within a global context.
The objectives of the Study Group are:

  1. To provide a forum for academics and practitioners to exchange research ideas, information and findings on issues related to gender and industrial relations theory and practice.
  2. To develop and sustain an international network to discuss issues related to the teaching in universities of gender within industrial relations.
  3. To provide a vehicle for members of the Study Group to identify potential research collaborators internationally.
  4. To contribute to the development and dissemination of research on gender and industrial relations.
  5. To draw more attention internationally about gender and industrial relations issues.
  6. To organize and participate in Study Group meetings at IIRA regional and international congresses.

The website includes a message board. Members are encouraged to post news of forthcoming events, requests for information, invitations for research collaborations, etc, etc. Alternatively or perhaps additionally, members can forward any items of interest to the coordinators who will distribute them to members via email.
